Car Shows

So due to issues with the car we will be unable to race this year.  We have alot of work ahead of us and plan to be running for the 2013 season.  We are going to be able to take the car to car shows(because it does not have to run for that).  We have two that we are planning to attend.  The first is Tremonton on the 21st of July.  The second is Peach Days in Brigham City.  This one will be September 8th.  Come by to visit and check out the new paint.  Hope to see you there.

Summer Fun

So the last few months have been very stressfull.  It now seems that we may be racing within the next month.  The heads have been shipped to a shop that can make the fix.  if you never have had the experience of mailing heads dont worry you are not missing much.  It is way over priced and all you do is worry about when they will make it to the correct location.  We currently have a few of the wrong pistons, but no worries we have found the right ones.  all of the wrong ones make wonderful table decorations.  All is coming together.  Finally we may be able to smell the lovely fuel and burn all our nose hairs.  One day soon I will get to feel the vibration of 1200 horsepower under my bum.  Oh the good old days.  We are looking at several different graphic design companies.  T shirts and other clothing should be a go in the next couple months.  So I will definately keep all of you updated.  Look for exciting changes and happy posts.

Finally Done

So MisBehavin is finally finished.  Thanks go out to Allreds Auto Body in Tremonton and Marty Sanders.  She looks Amazing.  I am so excited to start putting her back together.  My amazing husband found the pistons that we need.  Hopefully everything comes together this year.  SnoCross is finally over(not that we had much snow).  Cameron did great, taking champion, and also finishing second at the last race.  Amanda, Camerons girlfirend, was amazing too.  She had never been on a snow mobile and we put her in a race.  She took second.  Yea for girl power.  Tienna completed one qualifying session and was done, so we will se what happens next year.  Jr Drags start real soon, so I will keep everyone updated.

Going Pink

So its official, MisBehavin is going pink.  She headed off to the airbrusher last week.  Hope to bring her home next week.  I know I know she looks a little like pepto, but no worries that is just the base color.  In Snocross news it has been a slow season because we are still lacking the key component.  SNOW.  We head up this weekend to the West Yellowstone Expo.  This was our starting race last year so I am pretty excited for this one (there is a bright pink coat they sell that I really want)  hint hint to Kyle if you read this.  There is only one more race after this.  It is at my favorite spot in Island Park.  The people we have met are amazing.  I will update more on Saturday after Cam's first race.

Race Day

Well Cameron took first today...Go Cam.  We are so proud of him.  We are expecting snow, the real kind that lasts.  Fingers and toes are crossed that we will be able to play in it before it melts.  Not a lot to say today, will post more after tomorrows race.

Still no Snow

So this is definitely not the season to be a sno cross racers.  One major part of this is snow and that is not something we have seen a lot of yet.  I have given up hope on feet and feet of powder.  Thank goodness for snow maker machine(kinda like snow cone makers, but really really big).  After taking a weekend off to get Kyle's truck fixed we were finally ready to get back in the game. Last weekend we went to Island Park.  This is my absolute favorite place to race.  The people we have met are nothing short of amazing.  It does feel like for everything we get fixed we have something else break.  Cameron's sled suffered a broken chain housing and chain.  That resulted in us having to call it a day one qualifying session in.  I did get to race vintage for my first race ever.  It was great, I came in third(out of 3).  My first trophy, it is awesome.  After that we went swimming, and yes when you go down the water slide on a tube you do move faster.  The only other highlight we have to offer is the purchase of two vintage sleds.... Happy Valentines Day Kyle:).  They are just beautiful and a great addition to our two skiied family,  The next race is next weekend so a great good luck to Cameron.  Write  more soon.
